BASIC INFORMATION ON PRESIDENCY OF THE SECTION

ĐORĐE IGNJATOVIĆ is the author of several books in the field of Criminology, including textbook Criminology (11 issues), Criminological Heritage (3 editions), Theories of Criminology, Methodology of Crime Research, Penal Sanctions Execution Law (4th edition), co-author of several books : Victimology, Organized crime, Kluwers International Encyclopedia of Laws – Criminal Law – Yugoslavia. Member of the World and the European Society of Criminology, an honorary member of the Italian Association of Criminology. Member of the editorial board of several scientific journals at home and abroad.
The head of the four-year project Criminal Reaction in Serbia, financed by the Ministry of Science in Serbia, member of Selection Committee in Scientific Professions and manager of Master Studies at School of Law in Belgrade.

JOVAN ĆIRIĆ is the author of numerous papers in the field of Criminology, among which the most significant are: Medical malpractice, NATO aggression against Yugoslavia, The Social Impact of the Sentencing Policy of the Courts. Co-author’s work: Human rights in the Shadow of Organized Crime; The Conflict Between Public and Private Interests in the Triangle of Power, Money and Politics; Penal Politics in Serbia; Public Prosecutors and their Role in Establishing the Rule of Law, Prosecutors and Victims. He is the author of numerous articles and the editor of the journal Foreign Legal Life.

SNEŽANA SOKOVIĆ is Professor of Criminology with Penology at School of Law, University of Kragujevac. The author of the textbook Penal Sanctions Execution Law, monograph Expertise as an Evidence in Criminal Procedural Law, Indications as an Evidence and several dozen articles in the field of criminal justice. She has participated in several conferences and in several research projects.

BILJANA SIMEUNOVIĆPATIĆ is an Assistant Professor at the Police Academy in Belgrade. She received her PhD at  School of Law in Kragujevac on the subject of Juvenile Criminality in Serbia and Contemporary Social Reactions. She has participated in several research projects and has published dozens of papers in the field of criminology: Homicides in Belgrade: Criminological approach; Victimology (co-author’s work); Human Trafficking in Serbia; Negative Social Hero.

ALEKSANDRA ILIĆ is a PhD student at School of Law, where she graduated with high average grade. He has received awards from the fund of Prof. Dr. Dragoljub Atanacković as the best student of judiciary group of subjects  in  generation. She works as a Lecturer in Criminology and Victimology at School for Security Studies in Belgrade.

NATALIJA LUKIĆ is a PhD student at School of Law, where she graduated (judiciary group of subjects) with  high average grade and where she completed her Master Studies. She has received DAAD Doctoral Research Scholarship in 2012.
