IV Belgrade Arbitration Conference will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. It will gather ten renowned experts in the field of arbitration law around two panels: first dealing with Crime and Ethics in International Arbitration and the second dealing with Regional and National Flavor in International Commercial Arbitration.
Issues that will be discussed in the first panel include: criminal law issues arising in arbitration, conflicts of interest in appointing arbitrators and counsel and challenges as a tactical tools, guerrilla tactics, admissibility of evidence under dubious circumstances, sanctions to preserve the integrity of the proceedings.
Issues that will be discussed in the second panel include: advantages and disadvantages of arbitrating in Austria, Germany, Italy and Serbia as opposed to France, Switzerland and UK.
Working language of the Conference is English. Simultaneous translation to Serbian language will be provided to all interested participants. Registration for the Conference is free of charge.
